Chocolate Time! Coco Sala and Donna Kauffman

Chocolate Time! Coco Sala and Donna Kauffman

CHOCOLATE TIME! (That’s right. I do more than just torment you with photos of the chocolates I’m eating. I try to pay it forward a bit. πŸ™‚ ) As a huge thank you to all of you for the support that helped make CHASE ME‘s release so fun, this month’s chocolate is from luxury chocolate producer COCO SALA in DC.
And for the books, this month I wanted to feature Donna Kauffman, one of the very first authors to reach out when THE CHOCOLATE THIEF was published with very generous support and praise. I have a huge soft spot for established authors who take time to try to help new authors reach readers, and Donna Kauffman is a true star. And you will love her books. Her upcoming release STARFISH MOON takes us back to Blueberry Cove, the wonderfully heartwarming small town she has created in Maine. (I re-read them all every time we head to Maine, in fact.)
I’m throwing in also one copy of ALL FOR YOU, the first book in the Paris Nights series.
Name drawn Thursday! Please comment below to enter (or on Facebook).
I hope you enjoy!

Read “Chase Me” on the Kindle and I loved it.

I stumbled across the prequel “Turning Up the Heat”, then read “The Chocolate Thief”, and promptly fell in love with the stories you tell and how you tell them. I’ve bought, read, and reread every book, recommended them all to my local public library as well, have you on autobuy, and now I’m working my way through the audiobooks as they become available. Such a pleasure! Thank you, from an accidental fangirl. Merveilleuse!

I’m such a fan! I used to steer clear of books with tempting food descriptions after reading “Under the Tuscan Sun” in a place where I couldn’t actually get any pasta or cheese, but when I first read “The Chocolate Thief” it was the perfect excuse to eat chocolate. Fine, eat more chocolate. Anyway, this looks great and thanks for telling such awesome stories. πŸ™‚

Hi! It is such a treat to read your work – combining the worlds of romance, chocolate, and whatever other human-related issues you can. I just want to go to France now and find all the places you have described and meet all the people in your books (because they are all real, n’est pas?). Thanks for sharing with us!

Since everyone else has been stating their favorite and first, I will too.

The first and favorite one I read of yours was Once Upon a Rose. I saw a good review of it and decided to check it out and see if I liked it. I loved it, and soon as I was done, I immediately went to check out your other books. I loved ’em all πŸ™‚

I’ve read all your books and wait (not so patiently) for the next! I reread Dom and Jaime’s story and Philippe and Magalie’s story whenever I get to antsy πŸ™‚ And sometimes Once Upon a Rose and A Wish Upon Jasmine. I love the flawed characters that are trying to be their best selves. Write more! Faster! πŸ™‚

I stumbled across one of your books at the library and then devoured every one they had. I finished The Chocolate Heart, sighed and turned back to page one, this time to savor it. And I was super excited to give a couple of your books as a Christmas gift this year … although I admit I had second thoughts when they arrived from Amazon and I wanted to stick them on my OWN bookshelf.

I know you started this last novel before the attacks in Paris, but thank you for keeping it in the story and honouring the real life expirence. Speaking as someone who has been in Brussels for the last eight months, it helped with my own processing and closure. Since moving back to the US last week I’ve re-read the story as a nice lighthearted and positive reminder of the goodness in life despite the horror that sometimes goes with it. It’s a true testiment to both your understanding of human nature and your skill in translating that onto paper.

While chocolate is always welcome, I’m sure I’ve gotten more opportunities lately to enjoy some in Brussels than many of your other readers who have been in the US. I just wanted to take another oppertunity to say thank you for having the courage to share such beautiful stories! (And thanks for the author suggestion!)

I loved the sharp, sexy dialog. The plot wasn’t over the top or unreasonable either, which many books doing the counterterrorism angle ask for a little too much suspension of belief. Thanks for bringing a smile to my week.
