Wow. I could look at that for hours and still find something new, I bet. (Did people look at you oddly when you started taking pictures of chocolate and ice cream displays? Just curious.)
I love all your doors in the last post, so much so that I couldn’t come up with a reply. They created in me such a sense of yearning, to be someplace completely foreign, with beautiful doors. I am craving solitude, and it’s hard to come by right now.
See, now I’m really drooling. That’s not all chocolate, right? I see little chewy fruity looking thingies in the back. Ugh, now I have to go to the store again.
Why do your posts always make me HUNGRY?!?
At least now I understand why you titles this “Wicked Witch”. You’re re-naming yourself for taunting us with all of the lovely things you got and we can only see pics of on your blog. Evil Laura. That’s just plain evil.
In Provence, everyone was ADORABLE about it. They LOVED that I was taking pictures of their shop. In Ets. Vallauri, this shop, they kept showing me all the other good shots I could take. And then, after we finished shopping, we lingered looking at some of the things they had out in the street, and the owner followed after us and GAVE us two of the “pillows” of herbes de Provence and lavender just to be nice. I love this shop. It’s the same one in which I took the photos of the “guimauve” and the rose and violet syrups, jellies, etc.
P.S. Dee, I’m glad you’re having so much fun at the RWA! I tried to tell you on your blog, but Blogger hates me right now. I keep being unable to post on any of the Blogger blogs.
Bad, bad Laura!!!!!!
Oh no….there goes all my good intentions…I can ignore works, but never visual temptation….you see…it`s the visual thing…and now you`ve done it!!!

Oh come on!!!! You’re killing me here!!!
See now they can’t have that kind of store here in Montego Bay. I’d spend all my life savings in there! 😀

Wicked Witch Laugh Wednesdays. Maybe I should make it a regular thing…:)
Amy, I always introduce myself and ask permission if I’m inside the shop. (If it’s in a display window, I figure it’s fair game, but inside the shop I have a kind of photography Castle Doctrine idea.) In Paris, some places can be QUITE snobby about photo-taking. In fact one place REFUSED to let me take their violet réligieuses, and if only they didn’t make such good food I would Never Return. But I don’t have that willpower.

Michelle, the little chewy fruity things are “paté de fruits”. They are not my favorite but a lot of people love them. And they’re VERY pretty.
Corine, welcome to the blog! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
