What’s your favorite Parisian moment?
RT Book Reviews did a fun interview with me, Eloisa James, Joanna Bourne, Cara Black, and Anna Davis on Paris in their July issue, in honor of Bastille Day. To see the whole interview, you have to get the magazine, but they share our least favorite moments here.
It was a great interview, but I hate to leave it in the negative! So here’s my question: What’s your favorite Paris moment? Or if you haven’t been to Paris, what’s that one thing about it that makes you dream the most? That most tempts you to buy a ticket and just go?

I always wanted to go to the Louvre. However, after reading your story, I would think about the chocolate!

You definitely should go to the Louvre! Get tickets at the FNAC ahead of time in order to avoid the lines and go in by the Richelieu entrance. Don’t try to see everything. Relax and enjoy a few things. It’s the most amazing place to wander around in without purpose or any list to knock off.
But definitely get the chocolate, too! Jacques Genin’s salon is off the beaten tourist track (République), but it is such a nice place to sit down in, the chocolate is superb, and then you can always stroll on the Canal St. Martin (where Amélie threw stones) right after.
