  • I think it refers to a french song called ” SAN Francisco ” of Leforestier or anyway if not for me it does.
The sond goes like that :
    “C’est une maison bleue
    Adossée la colline
On y vient pied, on ne frappe pas
Ceux qui vivent l , ont jeté la clé
    On se retrouve ensemble
    Après des années de route
Et l’on vient s’asseoir autour du repas
Tout le monde est l , cinq heures du soir
    San Francisco s’embrume
    San Francisco s’allume
    San Francisco, où êtes vous
    Liza et Luc, Sylvia, attendez-moi ” …..
This picture is great . I wish I could live here

  • Mélanie, j’aime beaucoup cette chanson 🙂

Laura, thanks for sharing your story about lemurs in response to my “9 things about me” list. Your husband must have wonderful lemur stories to tell!

  • Now if only someone would translate that song for us into English…ahem…:-D

  • It’s a blue house
    Nestled into the hill
One (we) goes there on foot, no one knocks,
Those who live there have thrown away their key.
    We find ourselves together
    After years of travel
And we gather around the dinner table
Everyone is there, at 5 in the evening.
    Fog falls over San Francisco.
The lights of San Francisco come on.
    San Francisco, where are you…
Liz and Luc, Sylvia, wait for me…

That’s a rough translation–it needs some polish to try to make it as poetic in English as it is in French. But that’s what it means at least.
