Thank you!

Thank you!

Rediscovering relaxation in the Outer Banks. (You can kind of forget how lovely it is to just relax away from everything! Make sure you all are giving yourselves room to breathe, too.)
Thank you all so much for all the support as I shift into my time away. As you know, I do have one last public commitment next Saturday, October 21 (see previous post on the MORWA workshop), so if you are in St. Louis, there is the all-day workshop and also a public signing at 5 p.m.
And thank you so much for the emails and reviews for A KISS IN LAVENDER! I am so happy I was able to get this book out to you before I went on writing leave, and so very happy that people could love Lucien and Elena and sink into their story.
People have asked if I will be much available on social media during my leave. Probably not very much, I am sorry. Right now, at least, I want a very big space of quiet. But maybe I will peek in once in a while when it starts feeling right.
But I will be pulling in some new experiences and thinking of new stories! Thanks so much for reading these books and for letting me know that they mean something to you.
I’m so very glad A KISS IN LAVENDER could be a good “send-off” until the next book.
Much, much happy reading, and other happy experiences, to all of you!

Enjoy your quiet time! Looks like you have the perfect place to do it.
I can’t remember if I’ve read A Kiss in Lavender three or four times since it came out in Kindle. It’s such a lovely, tender story – almost breaks my heart.
I’m new to your books but I think I have read them all now more than once. And learning some French in the process.
Will watch for more when you’re back in action!
Thanks for all the romantic escapes.

I just watched my first episode of the NetFlix show “Chef’s Table,” the one featuring Jordi Roca. He is a pastry chef and works alongside his two amazing brothers. They have three Michelin stars. The show reminded me so much of your characters and the passion they have for food. It made me craavvvvve your next book. I hope you are having a nice time relaxing and rejuvenating. I’m so excited for your future books when you are ready!

I have to say I can’t wait for your next book, whenever it comes. When I’ve been in the mood for a romance lately, so many of the books I’ve tried have been disappointing. What I think I’m craving is a Laura Florand book, but I’ve already read them all! 🙂 But taking a break is important, and well deserved, so I hope it’s going well for you. Until the exciting day when your next book comes I will just have to re-read your catalog…
