Marie Antoinette in Peeps
Well. I’m just glad one of the entries gave me an excuse to post this here. For the French connection, see Marie Antoinette (#2). And also, I feel Mardi Gras (#8) counts, being what the Southern-French union produced when a whole group of French people found themselves in the South.
Considering some of the other subjects there, I suppose we can be grateful no one decided to show Marie Antoinette at the guillotine.
Also, I’m voting the whole thing has some kind of Southern connection, because, admit it, if I had told you, just like that, that someone was organizing a contest for the best art made from Peeps, you would automatically assume it was some eccentric Southern small town, wouldn’t you? So automatically that if something from this doesn’t show up in one of my books, it will only be because somebody forcibly sat on me, I swear.
If the link above doesn’t work, try this one.
