A glimpse of Philippe’s work in CHOCOLATE KISS
Just for fun, a glimpse of some of the images I would Pin to my storyboard as the inspiration for Philippe Lyonnais’s work in THE CHOCOLATE KISS.

These look delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had a macaron, and now, I can’t stop thinking about them! :p

Oh, just make sure you have a GOOD one. They’ve started to become a fad, which means you start seeing them in all kinds of bakeries, and mostly SO BAD. The really good ones are exquisite, truly an unforgettable sensory experience, but the not-good ones are very, very disappointing and will make you think I’m crazy. (I might be crazy, but not about this! 🙂 )
In the US…I like Bonnie Lau’s at Miel Bon Bons, but she doesn’t ship them right now. And I understand there are a couple of good places in New York, that I haven’t been able to try myself, but that’s the limit of what I can recommend so far. It’s definitely worth a trip to Paris to try some of Pierre Hermé’s, or those at Ladurée–where they were supposedly born–or Un dimanche à Paris.
